Oh, the joys of pregnancy!

So it seems as though I might just be able to say SEE YA to this lovely morning sickness. It’s been almost a week, and I haven’t had to take my Zofran (the nausea medication my doctor prescribed). I haven’t woken up sick, other then being so horribly hungry I feel like I am wasting away. That’s right, I’m hungry again! Even better, all I want are cheeseburgers… fast food, home made, or from a sit down restarant, doesn’t matter, just give me a cheeseburger! :) I think my body is trying to catch up on all the weight I’ve lost with the dreaded morning sickness. I was down close to 20 lbs at my worst, not the best diet.

I can only hope and pray that things will be easier now, for my sake, the baby, and poor Michael. He has been my #1 rock through all of this. No matter what time of day- or night, what kind of mood swing I may be having, or what kind of day he has had himself, he is right by my side. I love you sweetheart!

Peanut, AKA, BABY!

Well as you have all heard, on Oct 23, 2008, Michael and I found out we were expecting our first little one! I had been feeling pretty sick for a while, and just had that “gut feeling”, so after work one day, I bought the HPT, came home, and took the first one… then the second… and the third. They all were positive, hmmm. I showed Michael the tests when he got home from work, and his answer was, with a big smile, “What’s that?”.

Let the journey begin!

Everything is going good so far. As of today (12/25) I am 15 weeks along. We had out first ultrasound on 11/26 which was absolutly amazing. It is so hard to believe there is actually a baby growing inside of me! On 12/22 I was finally able to hear the heartbeat. Heartrate was at 145, which is nice and healthy, and has everyone thinking we just might be having a boy! We will *hopefully* find that out on 01/29/2009.

Pragnancy has been quite the battle with morning sickness, missing work, and poor Michael having to put up with all of it.  Only another 5 1/2 months, and we will meet our baby, and every second of being sick, tired, and just plain BLAH will be so worth it.
